Connor, an Australian farmer, comes to Turkey in 1919 after the Dardanelles War. He sets out on a quest to find out about the fate of his three children who were lost in the war in Gallipoli. In Istanbul, he establishes a relationship with Ayşe, the beautiful owner of the hotel where he stays. Despite encountering various difficulties, Connor does not lose hope and the Turkish Officers he met, Hasan and Cemal, will help him in his search in Çanakkale and the trio will cross the country, encountering the aftermath of the war and reveal the fate of the three children.
