NuLook Production which was founded in 2013 by Muzaffer Yıldırım has been successfully representing contemporary Turkish cinema both locally and internationally.
Our comedy blockbusters reach millions of moviegoers every year, reaching considerable success at box office. Our collaborations with acclaimed directors have premiered in official competitions in esteemed film festivals and received many local and international awards.
To name a few, Winter Sleep(2014), directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan was awarded with the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival and The Wild Pear Tree(2018) also competed for the Golden Palm. Water Diviner(2015), directed and starred by Russell Crowe, received the Best Film award at Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards in 2015. A Tale of Three Sisters(2019), written and directed by Emin Alper, competed for the Golden Bear in Berlinale. Arif v 216(2018) written and starred by Turkish household name Cem Yılmaz, had close to 5 million admissions and Yılmaz’s other films produced by NuLook Production have all found great success both in box office and in the public opinion. Sisters in Law(2020), written and starred by Gupse Özay has found great box office success with 3.6 million total admissions, and her latest film Lohusa(2024) has been the top live-action movie in Turkey in 2024 with close to 2.5 million admissions globally.
