Yan Yana tells the story of an exceptional friendship between Refik, a wealthy aristocrat paralyzed from the neck down, and Ferruh, a lively and energetic young man from one of Istanbul’s impoverished neighborhoods with a complicated past.When Refik is looking for an assistant to take care of him, he is impressed by Ferruh’s relaxed and carefree attitude towards life during a job interview and hires him. Although a strange relationship begins between the two at first, over time a strong friendship develops, and the narrative will explore the ways in which this friendship shapes their destinies.
